pulled over on the highway yesterday to get a photo of this. god i love the rocky mountains.
80 yr old male w/epistaxis for 48 hours. Pt refused to go to ER, wife finally talked him into going. He coded shortly after arriving. ER doc went to intubation & saw something, & pulled this sucker out in one piece. It’s a blood clot that ran from his nose, through his airway & into his lungs. It is an amazingly beautiful clot.
